Sloss Fine Woodworking officially began as a custom furniture company in Eastwood Neighbors circa 2009. In hindsight, the passion project was in its infancy much earlier than that. Drew Sloss, son of wood and leather artisans, had relocated to an early 1900's Victorian with his own family and began a seven year process of restoring and remodeling their first East Nashville home several years prior. Following that project with a meticulous reconstruction of a Lockeland Springs Craftsman, the construction company was taking shape. 1408 Woodland solidified the company's vision to build thoughtful infill homes of the highest caliber. Sloss Fine Woodworking is a small, family owned company that takes pride in a hands on approach of home building.
